As the latest addition to the recently opened garden level of Flick the Switch Parkdale Studio, Caroline Ross has over 20 years experience as an artist and designer. She has a Bachelor of Fine Art from OCAD university and has exhibited mostly 2d, time-based and projection installations locally and online. Caroline worked in many creative industries, including graphic design, advertising, and film festivals. Another lateral progression into 3D CAD, yielded notable staging design for the Sony Centre, and the Pan Am games iconic 3D ‘TORONTO’ sign in Nathan Phillips Square. Lauren is a textile artist currently completing a bachelor of design in fashion at Ryerson. She likes to work with upcycled materials to reduce the impact of her art & to give renewed purpose to tired objects or textile. She is interested in printmaking, weaving, tufting, sewing, embroidery & pattern making.
