I’m genuinely impressed by the level of work on view at the Parkdale Open Studio. The quality is high, the ideas are bold, and the talent is undeniable. This is not a polite stroll past polite paintings. It is a chance to step inside real working studios and meet artists who are deeply engaged in what they do.
If you enjoy seeing where art actually happens, peeking into creative spaces, and asking artists the questions you have always wanted to ask about their process, this event is for you. Conversations are welcome. Curiosity is encouraged. No art history degree required.
And if you prefer to roll up your sleeves rather than simply observe, there will be opportunities to make something of your own. Consider it equal parts exhibition and creative playground.
