As the latest addition to the recently opened garden level of Flick the Switch Parkdale Studio, Caroline Ross has over 20 years experience as an artist and designer. She has a Bachelor of Fine Art from OCAD university and has exhibited mostly 2d, time-based and projection installations locally and online. Caroline worked in many creative industries, including graphic design, advertising, and film festivals. Another lateral progression into 3D CAD, yielded notable staging design for the Sony Centre, and the Pan Am games iconic 3D ‘TORONTO’ sign in Nathan Phillips Square. Caroline received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto, where she explored parametric design and 3D printing. Caroline has most recently been working professionally on architecture and urban design projects. Having finally achieved a level of stability, for the artist this studio will host creative exploration in paint, structure, luminosity, atmospheric and responsive projects.
